I was smiled upon by Allah to spend the day mentoring with more than 15 young Muslim boys from all over the U.S. at the Canyon State Academy Boarding School in Arizona for young men who face issues with the law, at risk and disadvantaged (some students are not in the photo). There are more than 400 students in the Rite of Passage Program.  All the Muslim students were so thankful and attentive.  Being able to hear their goals and aspirations and hearing stories of where they come from and challenges they face was heartbreaking.  We also had three Christian boys accept Islam after the lecture session.  Alhamdulilah.  May Allah preserve this program and the young men going through it.  May Allah purify the hearts of these boys and grant them a second chance at life.  May Allah increase their knowledge and guide them on the right path.  Ameen.

Had a chance to be a part of a ground breaking experience of helping with the first outdoor street store for the homeless.  All clothes were donated and the homeless were able to shop with dignity.  Barbers were on site to groom the less fortunate for FREE.  Bottles of FREE water were handed out throughout the day along with options to purchase burger and fries gift vouchers to feed the bellies of the less fortunate.  Alhamdulilah.
